Volunteer for Guitars Over Guns Organization (GOGO) signature annual fundraising event, called Choose Your Sound, Forever Young, 80's gala. This event is attended by 700 key supporters including friends, donors, entertainment luminaries and community stakeholders.
This epic evening is filled with incredible performances from students, mentors, alumni & special guests, amazing food & drinks, and an unbelievable silent auction. All of the money raised is allocated to positive youth development, empowering kids from Miami Gardens to Homestead, inclusive of mentorship through the arts, mental wellness and career coaching.
Volunteers are key to ensuring this event is successful!

Slots:
1. Set up (Two Shifts- 20 people per shift) - Box meal provided
9:30am to 1:30pm
1:30pm to 5:30 pm
Help set up for the event. Setting up auction items, setting up decor, putting centerpieces together and on tables. More details to come.
2. Registration - (10 people needed) Box meal provided
6pm to 10pm
Help check people into the event, give them a description of what to expect, and let them know about the auction. After a rush of people come in and throughout the night, serve as a floater/ support at registration in case anyone has any questions, etc. More details to come.
3. Floater- Box meal provided (17 people needed) - most important shift needed- to help collect pledge cards from tables.
5:30pm to 10:30pm
Help out during the event by managing crowd control, making sure people understand how to bid on auction items, help collect pledge cards and answer questions during donations (when CEO makes an ask), etc. More details to come.
4. Clean up crew - snacks provided (15 people needed)
11pm to 1am
Help take down centerpieces, put auction items away. More details to come.
