Your Impact as a Walk to Defeat ALS Volunteer
When you sign-up to volunteer for the Miami Walk to Defeat ALS you will be helping countless people living with ALS and their families enjoy a fun-filled morning that raises awareness about ALS and raises critical funds to support the mission. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help us create an unforgettable event experience for participants, families, and supporters. This is a great event for a volunteer group!
Here's how you can help:
- Event Setup and Logistics: Help us set up booths and tables, signs along route, and registration areas before the event starts. Ensure everything is in place to provide a seamless experience for participants.
- Program Support: Assist with registration, refreshments, activities in the Kids Zone, and/or cheer on walkers along the route.
- Event Break-Down: What goes-up, must come down! Assist taking down route signs and breaking down tents and tables.
Dress code: These roles will all require lots of standing and walking. Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes.
Other Information: Volunteers can enjoy event refreshments. If you need volunteer hours to be signed off please notify us at time of registration so we can make note to follow through on that request.
