Program Information:

At NVEEE, part-time and full-time internships are available year-round. Students are eligible to receive volunteer, internship, and academic course credits if applicable. 

 

Location:

This opportunity can be entirely virtual or hybrid. 

 

Eligibility:

College students with exceptional time management and organizational skills are encouraged to apply to this unique experiential learning opportunity. As an intern for NVEEE, your efforts will support our work in bullying and suicide prevention, youth leadership, and LGBTQ+ and other social justice initiatives. 

Interns may be placed in one or more of the following committees:

  • Administrative 
  • Program Development
  • Volunteer Recruitment
  • Grant Writing and Research
  • Activities and Conference Planning
  • Fundraising and Donor Management
  • Mental Health and Wellness Advocate
  • Community Outreach and Engagement
  • General Marketing and Public Relations
  • Creative Services (Graphic and Video Design, Social Media Marketing, and more)

 

Expectations:

  • Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and show integrity by taking ownership and accountability for your projects.
  • Readiness to accept guidance, embrace teamwork, and display a strong work ethic.
  • Eagerness to engage and use critical thinking skills during trainings, brainstorming sessions, and team meetings.

ABOUT NVEEE

Mission: To prevent bullying, violence, and suicide among youth, families, and communities through direct service, mentoring, and prevention education.  

 

What We Do:

NVEEE provides interactive educational dialogues and leadership programs that address bullying, mental health, social inequities, and stereotypes and are designed to surface community-based solutions that support the health and well-being of all youth. Student Peace Ambassadors who complete our comprehensive leadership curriculum often co-facilitate our programs. 

Our dynamic and equity-based programs, which consistently fill to capacity, prepare youth and young adults to be socially responsible leaders.
