Option A: Special Events (Fast-Paced & Energetic)
Throughout the year, we host big holiday celebrations, cultural festivals, and community events. Volunteers in this track are the engine that makes these events run smoothly.
Duties: Managing themed craft stations, running carnival-style games, assisting with guest check-in, directing crowd traffic, and helping with event set-up and breakdown. You should be prepared to be flexible and go where the action is!
Option B: Skill-Based Volunteering (Professional Impact)
Are you a professional, creator, or retired expert looking to lend your specific talents to a great cause? We frequently look for specialized skills to support our staff.
Areas of Need: Let us know if you have background experience in photography/videography, storytelling, guest acting/performance, bilingual translation (English/Spanish/Creole), or specific educational fields.
Shift Details & Flexibility:
Time Commitment: Event-based or individually scheduled. Perfect for people with busy schedules who want to volunteer periodically.
Availability: Event shifts typically fall within our standard hours of 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday, though some special evening events may occur.
Who Can Serve & Requirements:
Ages: Adults (18+), Junior Volunteers (14+), and Corporate/Community Groups looking for a great half-day or full-day team-building project.
Requirements: All volunteers must complete an initial orientation. Volunteers 18 and older must pass a standard background check.
