Job Description
Florida Grand Opera is seeking a Marketing  Intern to assist with creating and managing e-blasts that promote ticket sales, events, and audience engagement. This internship offers hands-on experience in email marketing strategy, content creation, and data analysis within a professional arts organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation of email campaigns (e-blasts) to promote Florida Grand Opera productions, subscription packages, and special events
  • Draft compelling content to drive engagement and ticket sales
  • Coordinate with the marketing and box office teams to target the appropriate segments of the patron database
  • Schedule and send e-blasts according to the performance and sales calendar
  • Track and report on campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
  • Maintain the email content calendar and support the integration of email with other marketing efforts
  • Provide general support to the marketing and sales teams as needed
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Arts Administration, or a related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for persuasive and engaging content
  • Basic understanding of email marketing platforms or a willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with design principles or tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Interest in performing arts and nonprofit communications
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
