First Star Saturday

First Star Academy is an enrichment program for youth affected by the foster care system. High school students come to UM on the second Saturday of each month and live on campus for four weeks during the summer months. While on campus, students receive academic and life skills support. The role of the volunteers is to mentor and support students during programming.
