Repair the World mobilizes Jews and their communities through service and learning opportunities. The Repair the World Service Corps program is a 12 week stipended volunteer program. Service corps members volunteer at non-profit partners across Miami for 5-10 hours per week and receive a stipend of $1500 upon completion of the program. Additionally, service corps members participate in weekly social justice learning virtually as a cohort. Repair the World nationally addresses food justice, housing justice, education justice, and criminal justice.
What are the dates for Service Corps?
The service corps applications are on a rolling basis and close on Feb 22. The program is from March 6 - May 26, 2023.
Do I have to be Jewish to apply?
No you do not. The Repair the World Service Corps is an initiative that works to address the needs of all members of the community in which we work. Typically between 30% and 60% of our Repair the World Service Corps is made up of non-Jewish identifying individuals.
