‘App-y Hour: How to Stand Out!’
Tues. April 6, 2021 - 5:30 to 7pm
RSVP: bit.ly/2021springservice2
This virtual, two-part event series is a collaborative effort set to engage students and alumni in discovering and preparation for career pathways to make their impact on the world through service. Our second event on April 6th evening addresses "Applying to Service" so attendees can connect about roles they’re most interested in, have their resumes reviewed, plus ask any final questions about the application process before submitting.
Participating organizations will include multiple branches of national AmeriCorps programs: City Year, Florida VISTA Network, National Health Corps, National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) & FEMA Corps, Public Allies, and Teach for America. Also joining is the internationally known Peace Corps and national service group Repair the World. If you missed our first event on March 16th, ‘Starting Your Journey to Impact’, catch up from the video recordings on Facebook here: bit.ly/southfloridaservicecollective
