The Women’s Breast & Heart Initiative is an outreach organization dedicated to connecting at risk women with prevention and early detection to beat breast cancer and heart disease. We provide door-to-door breast health and heart health awareness, education, and referrals to at-risk women.
This fall we will be conducting our outreach campaign in the city of Miami Gardens on 3/7, 3/14, and 3/21. Outreach days begin at 8:30am on Saturdays with a light breakfast. Volunteers are briefly trained and then sent out to conduct outreach for 1 to 1.5 hours. Afterward, volunteers are served lunch and are finished by 12:30pm.
