Hosted by The Underline and the High Line Network, this peer exchange will bring together representatives from trail and placemaking projects across Miami-Dade County, along with national leaders from organizations including the High Line, Indianapolis Cultural Trail, Memphis River Parks Partnership, public agencies, community redevelopment agencies, planning and design firms, and transportation organizations.
The event will focus on advancing trail and public space projects through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the development of practical recommendations related to governance, funding, community engagement, design, operations, maintenance, and implementation.
What will volunteers do?
Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:
- Greeting and checking in attendees
- Providing wayfinding and directional assistance
- Assisting with room setup and event logistics
- Supporting speakers, facilitators, and staff as needed

Comfortable business casual attire and closed-toe shoes recommended
