Founded in 2008, and grounded in the belief that talent is universal but opportunity is not, Guitars Over Guns' mission is to positively impact youth in our most underserved communities through the power of music and mentorship.
What We Do
In Miami-Dade we serve the communities through 20+ school and parks sites where students are welcome for completely free after school music instruction. Led by our talented teaching artists, our sessions offer students with a safe space, arts instructions, and positive adult relationships.
