Historic Lyric Theatre

Located in the heart of Overtown in the district once known as “Little Broadway,” the Lyric Theatre stands as a symbol of Black cultural, and economic influence and is looking for volunteers.

Today, the Lyric is used for a variety of performances and programs, including standup comedy festivals, spoken word acts and jazz concerts. Every month, Lyric Live is a Live at the Apollo-style interactive talent showcase hosted by a comic with the support of a live band and DJ.
