Pridelines

Pridelines, Miami’s LGBTQ Community Center, provides Health Services for people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS, including HIV/STI testing, support groups, holistic therapies, and bi-monthly educational lectures; Programs and Services for LGBTQ Youth, including a drop-in center, a David Bohnett CyberCenter, peer-led, adult facilitated support groups, snacks and meals, and youth enrichment activities such as a leadership development camp and an annual youth awards gala; Wrap-Around Services for LGBTQ Homeless Youth, including a shower, washer/dryer, and clothing closet, snacks and meals, and (via our Project SAFE collaborative) access to housing; and a new 9,000 sqft. Center with 2 David Bohnett CyberCenters, 3 program rooms, a conference room, full kitchen, 2 treatment/testing rooms, Drop-In Center for LGBTQ youth, and offices and meeting space for community partners. Programs and services are provided throughout Miami-Dade, including weekly groups in Coral Gables and Cutler Bay.

Front Desk: greeting guests; answering the phones; data entry. Administrative Assistant: assisting program staff with general office duties including filing and data entry. Facilitator: co-facilitating support groups for LGBTQ youth, young adults, people living with HIV/AIDS. Meal prep: planning, cooking, and serving meals for support group attendees and events. Cleaning/Organization: maintaining the aesthetics of our 9,000 sq. ft. community center. Facilities: gardening; minor building repairs. Errands: food shopping; picking up donated items. Outreach: tabling at community outreach events. Chaperoning Events: chaperoning Youth Enrichment Activities. Tutoring: homework help for our LGBTQ youth. Special Events: support for special events including our annual gala; The SMART Ride; Miami Beach Gay Pride; Winter Party Festival; MiFo Film Festival. HIV/STI Testing: providing free confidential HIV/STI tests. Marketing/Communications: producing content for social media and website.
