Established in 1947, we are a chapter of Audubon Of Florida and the National Audubon Society. The Tropical Audubon Society is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organization. Our headquarters, the Doc Thomas House, is a Dade County Historic site. It occupies three sub-tropical acres of native habitat in South Miami at 5530 Sunset Drive, about a block east of Red Road.
What We Do
Volunteer with the eco-restoration workdays where volunteers would go into natural habitats to define trails (weeding, mulching, planting)
Volunteer with data entry and filing to ensure efficiency of organization
